MMA ODDS AND ENDS FOR TUESDAY: JUSTIN SCOGGINS OFF UFC ON FOX 26 DUE TO INJURY

Justin Scoggins announced on Twitter that he’s out of his matchup from Tim Elliott in UFC on FOX 26 at Winnipeg.

Unfortunately I will not be able to compete on December 16th in Winnipeg due to a spinal process fracture. Thank you for the help, I can’t wait to put on a show for you next year.

UFC officials haven’t mentioned the injury, but MMA DNA is reporting that Pietro Menga will replace Scoggins against Elliott on the 16th. Menga (13-0-0) hasn’t happened since July 2016 and will be producing his promotional introduction. The 29-year-old last saw activity in Bellator, where he conquered Spencer Hewitt by knockout at Bellator 158. Here is an updated look in the card.

Luis Henrique vs. Timothy Johnson set for UFC Fight Night 125
UFC officials recently announced that Luis Henrique will confront Timothy Johnson at UFC Fight Night 125 on Feb. 3 at Manguerinho Gymnasium in Belem, Brazil.
Henrique (10-4) heads into this matchup on a two-fight skid, including a decision loss to Arjan Bhullar at UFC 215. “KLB” is currently 2-2 from the UFC earning wins over Christian Colombo and Dmitry Smoliakov. Johnson (11-4) looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in his career. The 32-year-old is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Junior Albini in UFC on FOX 25.
