With two eliminations out of this way, Tinashe is the betting favorite to acquire Season 27 of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars with odds of +350. Tinashe (complete name Tinashe Jorgensen Kacheingwe) is a 25-year-old native of Kentucky who is best known for her singing roles with The Stunners and as a solo act.
She has collaborated with artists such as Calvin Harris and Travis Scott and can be paired with Brandon Armstrong on the show. She may have a leg up on the competition — Tinashe started training as a dancer at age four and the few gets the greatest average score through two weeks.
Di Pace & Manheim really are a Close Second
Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House, Mamma Mia) and 17-year-old Milo Manheim, by the Disney Channel original film”Zombies,” equally have +375 chances to win the 27th season of the wildly popular dance series.
Tinashe, Di Pace and Manheim all received dozens of 26 on both amounts in Week 2 of the series, setting up a pivotal Week 3 (October 8) to determine if any of those pairs can separate themselves from the competition. It is anticipated that Tinashe and Brandon will dance the Rumba, Juan Pablo and Cheryl Burke will dance the Samba, and Milo and Witney Carson will dance the Jive.
Usually Reliable Trainers Are In The Middle of the Pack
While athletes have traditionally had success on the series, former NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware and Olympian Mary Lou Retton are sitting at +800 and +1100 respectively to be crowned champion.
Ware retired in the NFL following 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos in the end of this 2016 season. Retton is famous for her five medals at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, including all-around gold, at the gymnastics competition.
Who’s in Trouble?
John Schneider, of Dukes of Hazzard fame, along with his partner Emma Slater were the last to be known as safe in Week two and they’ve chances of +1500 are the winners at the end of the show. So it doesn’t look like the smart money is on Bo Duke this season, despite his magnificent hair.
The longest chances after Week 2 belong to Joe Amabile and final year’s winning skilled dancer, Jenna Johnson (+4000). In fact, there has only been one professional to win in back-to-back seasons: Derek Hough in Season 10 and 11.
